The Yonge/ Dundas corridor has literally been on fire, especially with entry level condos.
Could this be a precedent of things to come from the new Federal first time buyer program?
Hyper localized price jumps, regardless of their scale or scope, are not sustainable in the long term. Once again this September’s house grants should fuel entry level housing back to near unprecedented levels. The $64,000 question remains, will their be a positive spillover to larger condo units & standalone housing?
                                                                                        As per CIBC, new home prices have been flat or falling since August 2018!
Do keep in mind that these C.M.H.C controlled grants & mortgages must have their values adjudicated by full designated AIC appraisers.
