Let it snow…while we skate! It is official… there is a skating rink in the works in Inglewood!
A huge thank you goes out to the Caledon Town Council for going above and beyond to acknowledge the need for enhanced outdoor winter amenities throughout Caledon. Surely, having to remain primarily indoors throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic has made everyone a little bit stir-crazy. A skating rink will be a wonderful activity for Caledon residents, while still allowing for safe social distancing!
The petitioning of the last few months by Caron and Barrie Shepley from C3, Personal Best, and others was indeed priceless.
To the town officials like Brian Baird & Heather Savage – whose immediate foresight helped launch these concepts, we tip our hats!
Hopefully, the winter of 2020/2021 will cooperate and present everyone with an opportunity to better enjoy their community skating rinks, clean bathrooms, better groomed trail-ways & clean bathrooms.
