Havoc again on Highway 10

Posted on Posted in Community Service, Transport Supportive Development

Once again, a rain of cars and trucks is cascading along our side roads.

The old melody of “Can anyone spare a dime” resonates astride the 28 billion being allocated for the already obsolete 413.

Despite benign early winter weather, experiencing three closures inside ten days should be evidence enough of a desperate need for greater vehicle accommodation. Just think what a superhighway will add in volume by default from induced demand. The level of traffic would likely parallel highway 400 volumes.

Conversely, through this Season of Hope, just imagine what $28 billion could do for our health care, social services, and municipal infrastructure.

Wish big this holiday season. All lives matter!
