Living in Inglewood for quite some time, and we have seen some changes over the years. But not enough is being done too improve accessibility for locals and visitors to and throughout our humble town.
Our daughter, Alex Bremner has proudly devoted many hours and patiently went around the town of Inglewood and petitioned to create sidewalks, streetlights, widening the road and adding low speed zones to the main street (McLaughlin Road). After some years we have noticed that some improvements are now needed again to enhance the town’s appearance, accessibility and safety. Alex is now all grown up, and no longer lives in Inglewood. We need more examples like her, to be actively positioning  for further improvements for the town of Inglewood to make our roads a safer place.
There are so many trails that criss-cross all over Inglewood and the surrounding area. It would be not only beneficial but profitable for Inglewood to have more interconnecting trails that are better marked with cross-walks in town across McLaughlin Road. Adding a trail where the abandoned rail-way track would be an excellent start to connect the trails into town and the surrounding area.
In news of growing concern about the potential development of town-homes along Inglewood’s abandoned rail way. A new petition to secure Inglewood’s natural beauty and trail system would be in the best interest for the town’s prestige and for future generations to enjoy the rolling hills and much more that Inglewood has to offer.
Some trail-mix for thought, stay safe.
