Community Safety Zones Remain at the Heart of the Vision Zero Road Safety Plan!

Posted on Posted in Caledon, Community Service, Transport Supportive Development

Municipal Planners are working diligently with the Vision Zero concept in an effort to make our streets safer.

“The plan addresses safety for the most vulnerable users”, Pedestrians, children, and cyclists.

Planners are incorporating this imaginative Vision Zero initiative into their overall concept of making towns into 15-minute mini Cities.

Essentially nearly all essential services will be within a 15-minute active transport commute.

Caledon is blessed with numerous community safety zones. These safety zones must remain steadfast in our efforts to protect all our citizens and the environment.

IE: Presently the Share the Road sign in north Inglewood has been sheered from its base and the 60 KM sign is wrongly positioned inside the village limits.
